El Reventador Volcanoe - 5 Day trekking Expedition : El Reventador is a volcano with a bad temper. As recently as the 1970's it regularly spewed and fumed, causing much unease with local inhabitants. Although, it has since mellowed, fumaroles activity can still be observed in the crater. It's 3.485m symmetrical cone bursts out of the cloud forest with solid determination.
However, due to its location, it is prone to bad weather. Your trip begins as we travel 100 km from Quito on the winding highway to Lago Agrio. Because of the difficulty of the terrain, we cannot use mules to carry baggage and groups cannot consist of more than 6 people. All participants must be in excellent physical condition.

Expedition to the Sangay Volcano - 8 Day Tour : The Sangay National park with a size of 271.000 ha has been founded in 1979. Within its borders three volcanoes can be found, two of them are still active. The Tungurahua (5.016 m.) who has showed an increasing activity during the last months represents a breathtaking spectacle. The Sangay (5.230 m) is situated at the edge of the rainforest and is one of the most active volcanoes of the world. And finally there is the Altar (5.320 m), who is extinct for a long time.
The lakes surrounding the volcano offer a spectacular and unique scenery. Subtropical rainforest merges into cloud forest, followed by Andean grasslands and finally ending in the everlasting ice of the glaciers of the 5000 meters high mountains. The scenery is spectacular and if the weather is good we will be rewarded with superb views of Sangay. This trek is fairly rugged, so excellent physical condition is required.

From the Andes to the Amazon - 12 Day Adventure Trekking Tour : we descend the foothills of the eastern Andes, passing through mountain cloud forest and finally through the subtropical rainforest. On our way we follow the Rio Palora which we cross about 2 days before the end of the Expedition. We trek through the rainforest to the small jungle village of Palora. The highlight of the tour is the huge diversity of flora and fauna in the region.
