QUITO – VOLCANOES AVENUE – SALINAS DE BOLÍVAR – QUITO
We’ll head south toward the town of Salinas de Bolívar, following the Avenue of the Volcanoes. Visit the Rumiñahui Volcano area and Cotopaxi National Park; You’ll witness Cotopaxi (5.897 m / 19.400 ft.). Arrival to our destination, Salinas de Bolívar. There we will visit some of the community’s micro-enterprises, including salt mines, spinning mills, cheese factories, marmalade factories, dried mushroom factories, and others.
On the route back we will visit the Chimborazo Faunistic Reserve, you’ll witness Chimborazo (6.310 m. / 20.697 ft.). Return to Quito.
