In search of the Humpback whale (Machalilla National Park) - 4 days : Machalilla National Park is the best-preserved coastal reserve in continental Ecuador. It is the site of magnificent beaches, tropical dry forests and pre-Inca ruins from the Valdivia, Chorrera, and Manteño cultures. The park also includes Isla de la Plata, an island famous for having wildlife similar to that of the Galapagos Islands. Each day brings new adventures as we kayak various sections of the park where Humpback whales gather to bear their offspring.
